About

Our story

The World and Me is a youth organization connecting young people with community, history, and civic life. We believe young people can play an active role in understanding, preserving, and sharing the history around them.

Madison roots

Our work is rooted in Wisconsin’s capital city — its lakes, landmarks, and symbols.
